Hello, my name is Cherryl Clark. My mother, Lois Bobo had ALS and was a great advocate for it. To honor her memory, I am donating part of the proceeds from my book "Hope for the Heart" to ALS. I hope you join me in raising awareness as I carry on her advocacy. It can be found on Amazon here: Hope for the Heart

Lois Marie Moody was born on May 10, 1941 in Okmulgee, OK to Margaret and Craig Moody. She was raised in Garden City, KS. Lois was the eldest of eleven children. She was a devoted mother of six children. Family was everything to her including her siblings. Whatever she had she would share, and she made us mindful of sharing what we have with others.
Lois moved to Wichita, KS and was employed at Henry's Department Store and Beech Aircraft. After being laid off from Beech, Lois walked to a local community center looking for a job. She was humble and took a job babysitting, it wasn't much but she was willing to do whatever she had to help take care of her children. The Father of the children she cared for was the CEO of Pizza Hut. He recognized her intelligence and encouraged her to go back to school. She attended WATC for accounting training, and he hired her after she completed her studies. She was a diligent worker, retiring from the Pizza Hut Corporation and Kelly Manufacturing after years of faithful service. She was involved in many charities including ALS and looked forward to the ALS walk each year.
She passed from Earth to Heaven early in the morning on the 7th of November 2017. She is preceded in death by her daughter (Margaret), her Mother Margaret Moody, Father Craig Moody, and brothers Robert and Richard Moody. She is remembered and loved by daughter, Cherryl (Tim) Clark, Sons, Jimmy (Nikki) Taylor, Kevin Taylor, William (Angie) Taylor and Anthony Taylor. Sisters, Mildred White, Dorothy Elder, Waliyyah (Abdurrahim) Shamsiddeen, Brothers: Larry (Jeanette) Moody, David (Dawn) Gaffney, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Although small in stature, she was a towering, loving matriarch to her family and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
